Lubomir Michalik to leave Pompey
Report Published January 12, 2013
Lubomir Michalik has become the latest player to leave Pompey.
The central defender has informed caretaker boss Guy Whittingham he will not be renewing his one-month contract, which expires on Tuesday.
Today’s match at home to Notts County was scheduled to be his final appearance for the Blues, only for the game to be postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
The Slovakian international is moving to a club abroad and joins Brian Howard, Mustapha Dumbuya, Jon Harley, Lee Williamson, Paul Benson and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing in leaving Fratton Park in the past week.
